Full-day cruise around Rab Island aboard the glass-bottom boat Barba Šime. What to Expect
Step aboard the spacious Barba Šime at 09:30 and cruise out of the Port of Rab through the Barbat Channel. Settle in on deck or head to the glass viewing area as the coastline slips by. If you’re driving, our crew will point you to full-day parking; if you’re staying in Barbat, pickup can be arranged so you can join the tour with ease.
Our first destination is the dramatic Zavratnica Bay, a cliff-lined inlet with strikingly clear water—perfect for photos from the boat and a scenic coastal stroll when timings allow. We then continue to Njivice Beach, a paradise for swimmers, where you’ll enjoy a refreshing 30-minute swim break in calm, inviting shallows.
Midday brings us to the starkly beautiful Goli Otok for sightseeing, swimming, and lunch. With ~1 hour 30 minutes here, you can explore the island’s shoreline, take a dip, and savor a fresh lunch on board (fish, meat, or vegetarian; subject to daily availability) while soaking up wide-open Adriatic views.
In the afternoon we pause at Sveti Grgur for a short sightseeing & swim stop, then finish with a final swim at Suha Punta—either Armata or Planika Bay, chosen by the captain for the best conditions. After a relaxed cruise back toward Rab, we return to port with sandy towels, salty smiles, and a full lap of the island complete.

We went on two boat trips: dynamic Five pearls and more relaxed- Lošinj trip. Both were incredible, there was a good balance of boat time and swimming breaks. Swimming break locations were very beautiful and you can see that the captain knows the island(s) like the palm of his hand. The boat crew was excellent, food was great, overall it was 10/10. :)

We had a great day, crew was friendly spoke English, German and Italian. We took the five pearls excursion. Besides the last stop all of them were fantastic. Lunch was either fish (deliciously grilled) or chicken. Kids went on for free, only had to pay for lunch.
